The fees below are given in Canadian dollars. (As of November 19, 2019, 1 Canadian dollar corresponds to about 0.75 US dollar).

The Registration Fee includes conference materials, admission to all scientific sessions and exhibition area, coffee breaks, lunches and the Welcome Reception. The Conference Dinner in Old Montreal is booked separately at the time of registration (spaces limited).

**Includes full-time students (all levels, including graduate, undergraduate, post-doctorate) and early-career researchers who completed their final degree within the last 5 years before the conference. Students need to supply an electronic copy of their valid student ID or graduation certificate.

Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy, Refund, and Substitution

If applicable, the refund will be made after the conference. EPICOH 2020 regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. If a participant is unable to attend the conference, a substitute is welcome to attend. Please advise the conference secretariat on full details of a substitute delegate in writing. A fee of $75 is applicable.

In case of cancellation, the following policy applies:

Cancellation on or before June 30, 2020 50% of total fees refunded
Cancellation after June 30, 2020 No refund

All approved refunds will be issued after EPICOH2020 on or before December 21, 2020.

Entry requirements and Official VISA Letters of Invitation

Official letters of invitation for visa applications are available to REGISTERED and PAID participants and have to be requested during the registration process. You will receive the letter by email within 5 business days. These letters do not and cannot commit the Organizing Committee to any financial obligation. Should the visa not be granted to the applicant, the registration fee will be reimbursed in full, less $50 CAN administration charge. The deadline to submit a written refund request due to visa refusal is July 31, 2020. Official paperwork must be sent by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. Participants requesting a visa invitation letter to be sent to them by priority mail will be charged $100 CAN per delivery address.

Liability & Insurance

The International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH), the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST) and the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), their Organizing Committees and Professional Congress Organizer shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered participants of EPICOH2020.

It is strongly recommended and it is your responsibility to have insurance to cover medical, travel, and registration expenses in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

In case it would become inadvisable, commercially impracticable, illegal or impossible to hold the conference as planned for reasons that are beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes or lockouts, riots, embargoes, boycott, power failures or prolonged shortage of energy supplies, fire, flood, hurricane, earthquake, acts of state or governmental action, war, armed conflict or warlike conditions including actual or apprehended terrorism, disaster, curtailment of transportation facilities (including because of weather conditions) preventing or delaying attendance by a significant number of registered participants, disease or medical epidemics or outbreaks, or any other reasons that constitute force majeure, the following conditions will apply.

We may elect one of the following remedies: (a) to cancel the conference; or (b) to suspend the conference for the duration of the impending circumstances; or (c) to hold the Symposium as planned. In either case, any registration fees that will have been paid to us will not be refunded and we will not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, claims, costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever by reason of any cancellation, rescheduling, postponement or alteration of the conference. If we elect to cancel the conference and we thereafter determine that we can cover our costs and expenses, we would to the extent possible affect the remaining funds (after accounting for a reserve fund to be determined by us) to reimburse pro rata those who would have paid registration fees. All such payments would be made after EPICOH2020 on or before December 21, 2020.
